Kamene Goro Addresses Marriage Speculation, Reveals She and DJ Bonez Live in Different Cities
Kamene Goro has addressed speculation about her marriage to DJ Bonez, revealing that the couple currently live in different cities because of their work commitments.
Speaking during a candid phone conversation with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray, Kamene dismissed suggestions that their living arrangements were a sign of trouble in their relationship, insisting that there was no bad blood between them.
She explained that Bonez is based in Mombasa while she lives in Nairobi, adding that they continue to respect each other despite not sharing a home.
“Hatuna ubaya, there is no problem between Bonez and me, but we are not staying together. Bonez is in Mombasa, and I am in Nairobi. Everyone has their work. We don’t hate each other. Yeah, we respect each other. I think that’s what I can say for now,” Kamene said.
Her remarks come amid online speculation about the state of their marriage following a social media post in which she spoke about waking up alone. The post prompted some followers to question whether she was still married.
Kamene Clarifies Her Marital Status
Kamene also addressed interpretations of a separate social media post featuring a song by singer Bien, explaining that she shared it simply because she liked the track and was not making a statement about her relationship.
She maintained that waking up alone did not mean she was unhappy in her marriage or looking for a new partner.
“I am not available at all,” she said.
The media personality accused social media users of reading too much into her posts and spreading claims that she was single, insisting that the speculation did not reflect her actual situation.
“People like to misinterpret things. I put Bien song because I love that song, and just because I woke up alone is not that I am complaining, and it also does not mean that I am single; people need to get that right. I am not single in any way,” she explained.
Kamene reiterated that she was not available and urged the public to stop interpreting her posts as an indication that she was no longer in a relationship.
“I have said I’m not single; that is it. People should not… that story went and spread, and then everyone now thinks that I am available. I am not available. I want it to be; I am not available at all. Just because I woke up alone does not mean I am single. I’m just saying how I woke up feeling great on my own,” she added.
