'You have 21 days': Kilifi County issues notice to Shakahola families
Families searching for relatives who disappeared in the Shakahola and Kwa Binzaro tragedies have been given 21 days to identify and collect their loved ones before the remains are disposed of in accordance with the law.
The County Government of Kilifi has issued a public notice asking relatives, next of kin and members of the public to visit the Malindi Sub-County Hospital Mortuary to identify 443 human bodies and 45 body parts recovered during multi-agency operations linked to the two massacres.
