With the Azzurri coach announcing his latest selection later this week, speculation is running high over who will make the cut and who could be handed an opportunity to represent their country.

Alphadjo Cisse is in line for his first senior call-up to the Italy national team, marking an important milestone in his career. Meanwhile, Michael Kayode, Issa Doumbia and Alessandro Romano are expected to retain their places after making their senior international debuts during the previous international break.

However, with several players competing for a place in the squad, plenty of questions remain about Mancini’s selection. Who has done enough to earn a call-up? Are any emerging talents deserving of an opportunity? And which established names could miss out?

Lorenzo and Richard discuss their predictions, assess the players who could make the difference, and debate who deserves to wear the Azzurri shirt in the upcoming fixtures.
