Arsenal Leading Race To Sign 2026 World Cup Star In January Transfer Window
Reigning Premier League champions Arsenal are leading the race to sign RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa in the January window.
The Gunners are said to be preparing an opening offer of around €40m for the 21-year-old Norway international, ahead of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Fussball News and TeamTalk, Arsenal and Spurs are currently leading the race for the explosive left winger, but Arsenal’s interest is now described as “particularly concrete”.
Nusa has started the season in sensational form — three goals and two assists in six games, including a Man-of-the-Match display with a goal and two assists in Leipzig’s 5-0 win over Hamburg.
He also helped Norway reach the World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history this summer.

Leipzig have no intention to sell in January. The German club, who signed him from Club Brugge for €21m in August 2024, have set an “exceptional” asking price of €60-65m and his contract runs until June 2029 — giving them huge leverage.
The club are monitoring other wingers too. Newcastle, Aston Villa, Roma, AC Milan, Inter, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all following his development.
Arsenal’s renewed push comes after Christos Tzolis — their only left-wing signing this summer following the sales of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard — picked up a hamstring injury on international duty with Greece.
Leipzig boss Martin Demichelis is reportedly keen to keep Nusa until at least next summer.
