Osun election in photos: Elderly, physically challenged voters turn out

Translate

Elderly men and women, as well as physically challenged persons, were among voters who turned out early on Saturday to cast their ballots in the Osun State governorship election.

The aged voters were seen at various polling units across the state, joining other residents to exercise their franchise and elect the next governor of Osun.

Physically challenged voters were also spotted at polling units, waiting in queues to cast their votes.

As early as 7:30 a.m., ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had arrived at some polling units and wards ahead of the commencement of voting.

The turnout reflected the participation of voters from different age groups and backgrounds in the election.
