Chris Pratt stars in first look at return of action thriller The Terminal List

After a four-year wait, Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for The Terminal List season 2.

The new eight-part season, which will drop on the platform on 21 October 2026, will see Chris Pratt return as Navy SEAL Commander, James Reece, as he takes on a mission on an international scale.

Inspired by Jack Carr's second novel, True Believer, season 2 follows Reece as he "battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order". Traversing across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, Reece "uncovers a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family's history".

Alongside Pratt, other returning faces including Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.

Meanwhile, newcomers to the cast include Gabriel Luna as Freddy Stain.

Season two is also set to feature an expanded international cast including Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, Jeremy Bobb, Shiraz Tzarfati, and more.

"This season is a love letter to the special operations community," Pratt, who also serves as executive producer, said in a statement.

He continued: "I’m incredibly proud of the journey we went on and what we were able to put on screen. It was a monumental effort by a lot of people over the course of many years, and I think you can feel that commitment in every frame.

"Yes, it’s an action thriller, but there’s also real beauty and poetry in it. At its heart, this season is dedicated to the men and women who do this work—the people who operate in the shadows, make extraordinary sacrifices, and rarely ask for recognition. We wanted to honour them and get it right. I couldn’t be more proud of what we made.”

The action thriller first debuted on Prime Video back in 2022, and was expanded in 2025 with the prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which focused primarily on Taylor Kitsch's character, Ben Edwards, and also saw the returns of Pratt as Reece and Shaw as Boozer.

The Terminal season 2 will drop on Prime Video on 21 October 2026.
