EastEnders star films "emotional" final scenes as exit is confirmed

Another EastEnders star has reportedly filmed their final scenes, after being a part of the BBC One soap since 2017.
Young actor Harry Farr has been playing Mick and Linda's son Ollie Carter for the best part of a decade (although he has only been credited since 2020), since he was just a little 'un.

With Linda actor Kellie Bright's departure imminent, it's not surprising that her on-screen son is leaving too, but now it looks like it's confirmed.
The Sun reports that Harry's mum Laura posted on Instagram: "And that's a wrap! Emotional ending after such a long time for him, but wow what an amazing experience (with some of the nicest people) he's had."
We don't know exactly when or how Linda and Ollie will depart Albert Square, but Linda featured in the New Year's Day flashforward episode at the start of this year, so it looks like they'll be around until the start of 2027 at least.
But given how quick the turnaround is between when episodes are filmed and broadcast, it seems like it won't be that far into the New Year that we'll see them exit.

And Linda and Ollie aren't the only Carters leaving Walford soon.
Johnny actor Charlie Suff was confirmed back in August to be leaving EastEnders as well.
"I absolutely love being a part of the show," he said last month. "I love everyone in it. I love the crew. I love the team. It's been an amazing thing to be part of.
"But I've had an amazing few years, and what an honour to go out with the Carters."
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
