A man expected to be very much in demand is Eli Junior Kroupi, who is currently sidelined with injury. The Gunners are expected the lead the chase for a player who could cost close to £100million. Other young forwards, such as Endrick and Rio Ngumoha are also interested. Julian Alvarez is said to be considering switching agents to force a move away from Atletico Madrid.

Young stars are the flavour of the months within Man United keen on Lens teenager Mezian Mesloub as JJ Gabriel heads for the exit door, with Real Madrid and Barcelona leading the chase, but Chelsea also in the mix. The Blues are expected to explore January deals for Alex Scott, Adam Wharton and Lamine Camara in January, reigniting their summer interest, while they also keep tabs on Bournemouth winger Rayan.

Liverpool are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen defender Givairo Read, who also has admirers at Arsenal and Manchester City. How Arsenal played a part in JJ Gabriel's Man Utd exit demand

Arsenal’s rise under Mikel Arteta has reportedly played a part in JJ Gabriel’s desire to leave Manchester United, with the teenager’s future at Old Trafford increasingly uncertain.

According to TEAMtalk, the 15-year-old has formally asked United to cancel his registration and allow him to become a free agent. The report states that Arsenal’s progress under Arteta is among the factors behind Gabriel’s growing doubts over his future at United.

Arsenal won the Premier League last season and reached the Champions League final, while United’s struggles in recent years have reportedly contributed to frustration within Gabriel’s camp. The Daily Mail claimed that United’s decline since Sir Alex Ferguson’s era has been a driving factor behind the family’s decision.

Gabriel remains highly rated across Europe, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich all linked with the youngster. United are still hoping to change his mind, but reports suggest the club faces an increasingly difficult battle to keep him beyond his 16th birthday.

Arsenal eye loan Julian Alvarez deal

Arsenal could receive a boost in their pursuit of Julian Alvarez after Barcelona reportedly cooled their interest in the Atletico Madrid striker following his failed summer move.

According to Fichajes, Barcelona have shifted their focus towards other areas of the squad, particularly defence, after Raphinha’s impressive form has reduced the urgency to sign another forward. The Brazilian has been used centrally and has made a prolific start to the season.

Alvarez, meanwhile, has struggled for regular starts under Diego Simeone since the World Cup. He started against Liverpool in the Champions League but was not involved from the beginning in Atletico’s recent Madrid derby victory, with Jonathan David and Kang-in Lee featuring in attack.

The situation could give Arsenal an opportunity to revisit the Argentine’s situation in January. The Gunners were unable to convince Alvarez to move to north London during the summer, but a loan deal could now emerge as an option if his limited role at Atletico continues.

Man Utd target Tyrick Mitchell

Manchester United are weighing up a move for Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell.

Per Football Insider, the Red Devils consider him an ideal reinforcement at left-back, where Luke Shaw is currently the only natural option.

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has seen his odds of becoming the first managerial casualty of the season slashed by betting sites, though he is not the front-runner.

Man United needed a late deflected Matheus Cunha strike to earn a point away at Fulham on Sunday, stretching their winless run to three games across all competitions.

The 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage leaves Man Utd 12th in the Premier League table having taken just five points from a possible 15, with their only wins this season coming against promoted Ipswich and Champions League debutants Sabah.

That point, however, lifted Fulham above Tottenham - who cannot move off the bottom of the table for at least three weeks because of the new international break.

Arsenal reveal stance on Dowman exit

Mikel Arteta is open to the possibility of Arsenal one day sending Max Dowman out on loan.

The 16-year-old continues to make an impact when given first-team opportunities, scoring a brace against Ipswich in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Dowman made six Premier League appearances last season and also became the youngest player in Champions League history.

The teenager will be eligible to go on loan once he turns 17 at the end of December. There have already been suggestions that clubs have approached Arsenal to enquire about Dowman.
