Some flights across Belfast airports and Londonderry hit by ‘technical issue’

A number of travellers at the two Belfast airports and Londonderry were affected by a technical issue facing air traffic control.

A small number of flights, mainly to UK airports, were either cancelled or delayed amid the second air traffic control issue in just under two weeks caused further flight disruption.

In a statement Belfast City Airport said: “A technical issue being investigated by National Air Traffic Services means there will be disruption to flights arriving and departing from Belfast City Airport.

“Passengers are advised to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling to Belfast City Airport.”
