Kai Cenat thought he was ready for StableRonaldo's reading challenge, but it was over before it really started. During a call between the two streamers, Stable handed Kai a simple task: read one page of aHarry Potter book without making a single mistake. Kai got through a few words before Stable stopped him. "You said bundles and feathers," Stable told him. "It's bundle of feathers." For a streamer who spent part of this year reading on camera to improve the way he speaks, that's a tough way to lose.

How Kai Cenat lost the Harry Potter challenge

Kai opened confidently."Herbs, dried roots, and bright powders line the walls," he read, before moving on to the next part of the sentence.

That's where it went wrong. Stable caught the slip straight away, and Kai wasn't having it."I said that," he insisted, before repeating, "Yes, I did."

Stable didn't budge."You skipped the word. You said a whole different word," he told Kai, reminding him the rule was no mistakes at all. Things got even funnier when Stable took his own turn. He read through his passage cleanly, and Kai tried to play it cool. "It's not bad, bro. Like, that's not bad," he said, before the call turned into a back-and-forth of "continue, continue" and "Why are you not reading?"

Why Kai Cenat's reading matters

The challenge landed because of Kai's own history with reading. After his Mafiathon 3 in September 2025, he took a break from Twitch, partly to focus on his fashion line, Vivet.

In January 2026, he started posting reading sessions on YouTube, sitting down with self-help books for around 20 minutes at a time, looking up words he didn't know and fixing his pronunciation as he went. He said he wanted to communicate better, which is exactly what Stable was poking at.

The rest of the call was far more comfortable for Kai. He gave Stable a look at his watch collection, which reportedly includes a Richard Mille "Wayde van Niekerk" edition, a Jacob & Co. Astronomia "Solar Zodiac", a Cartier Crash and an Audemars Piguet "Spider-Man" limited to 250 pieces.

He also showed Stable a one-of-one Vivet jacket that he plans to gift him, a piece that will never be released to the public.
