Jasmine Tookes Reacts to Heavy Wings at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Barbara Palvin Returns to Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2026 One Month After Giving Birth

Heavy are the shoulders that wear the wings.

Jasmine Tookes cleared the air after a viral clip showed her declaring that the wings she wore during the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show were "so heavy."

"Oh my god lol," she commented under a video of the moment shared to Instagram Oct. 18 that claimed she was "fighting for her life" on the runway. "This is awful..you caught me on the way back when i was almost off the stage…"

Tookes added, "Gave it my all going to the camera if you watch the real show."

Indeed, the model stunned on the runway in a multicolored bikini look that featured a sequined magenta cover-up over her bottom half that was paired with giant, tinsel-covered pink angel wings.

Tookes—who appeared a second time during the show in an all-white lingerie look worn under a beaded cover-up—shared how content she was with how the night went.

"You guys I'm so happy!!!" she posted to her Instagram Stories Oct. 18. "I will share so many fun moments tomorrow. Time for some champagne. LOVE YOU ALL."

The 35-year-old added, "What a show."

While Tookes was joined on the runway with many fellow longtime Victoria's Secret models like Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel, there was at least one veteran of the show that skipped out this year: Miranda Kerr.

Two decades after she made her debut at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Kerr revealed why she didn't hit the catwalk this year—despite being invited to return. 

"Looking back with so much gratitude for the friendships, the magical memories and for everyone who made that chapter of my life so special," Kerr—who last walked in 2012—captioned her Sept. 17 Instagram post. "It meant so much to be invited to return this year, especially as it marks 20 years since my first show."

"But I ultimately felt in my heart it was right to cherish this chapter as it was," she concluded. "Sending so much love and light to everyone in this year's show!"
