Actor and internet personality Mouli, who rose to fame with the coming-of-age romance comedy ‘Little Hearts’ is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming Telugu film ‘Donga Naa Koduku’.

The actor recently spoke about how coming out of his comfort zone helped him grow as a performer, while also sharing his experience of dancing in the film’s song ‘Oh My God’.

Mouli opens up about ‘Oh My God' song

During a pre-release event, the makers unveiled the song, ‘Oh My God’. As quoted by Cinema Express, while speaking at the event, Mouli said, “I never thought I could dance like this. My mother was shocked after watching my dance because she couldn't believe it.

I should thank choreographer Sandeep Master for making me dance like that. He actually took me out of my comfort zone while choreographing this song.”

Mouli praises Bhaskarbatla and Ram Miriyala

Mouli also praised lyricist Bhaskarbatla for writing simple lyrics that audiences can easily understand. He shared, “I am very happy to have worked with Bhaskarbatla, who wrote lyrics that everyone can easily understand. Ram Miriyala is my favourite singer, and he has lent his voice to this song.

I feel lucky to have him sing for my film.”The song features Mouli dancing in front of a huge crowd at Visakhapatnam beach, an experience he said he had never imagined having.

Mouli recalls his shy school days

The actor also remembered how shy he was as a child. He recalled, “When I was in fifth grade, my teacher asked me to participate in a competition and tell a joke. But I couldn't speak and was trembling at the time. That's how I used to be. Now, when I look at myself dancing to this song without any pressure, I realise how far I have come by stepping out of my comfort zone."Mouli initially started a YouTube channel and wanted to lead a happy life in Visakhapatnam. However, his interest in acting eventually brought him to Hyderabad, where he made short films and pursued new opportunities.“I made a few short films and was happy with my YouTube channel. But I wanted to try something new and step out of my comfort zone. That desire has now brought me the opportunity to work with one of India's major production houses, Mythri Movie Makers,” he said.Talking about his upcoming film, ‘Donga Naa Koduku’ stars Sushmitha Shetty as the female lead and marks the directorial debut of Srinu Kmabla. Sinjith is composing the music. It is set to release in theatres on November 13, 2026.
