Lazio Set To Offer Dele-Bashiru New Contract

Translate

Lazio are working on a new contract for Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Completesports.com reports.

The 25-year-old has established himself as an important member of the squad since joining the Serie A club from Turkish side Hatayspor in 2024, despite battling injury problems.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are keen to secure Dele-Bashiru’s services for the long term.

The midfielder has two years remaining on his current contract, but the proposed new deal would help the Rome-based club secure his future.

Dele-Bashiru has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Lazio are also considering contract renewals for Danish winger Gustav Isaksen and Italian midfielder Nicolò Rovella as they look to retain key members of their squad.

Dele-Bashiru recently returned to action after suffering a hamstring injury on the opening day of the season against Bologna.

He featured for 30 minutes in Lazio’s 3-1 victory over Monza last weekend, marking his return to competitive action.

Lazio will next face Juventus away from home on Sunday in a Serie A clash.
