Battle of the skinny stars at Emmys 2026 as Hollywood's Ozempic obsession continues

The Emmys 2026 kicked off award season in style – but it was the parade of skinny stars on the red carpet that caused the biggest stir.

Zendaya, Amy Poehler and Sarah Michelle Gellar were among the biggest names to descend on the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Monday night.

However, amid the glitz and glam of the 78th annual ceremony, it was Hollywood's continued Ozempic obsession that caught the eye.

There have been a whole host of industry titans admitting to using weight-loss drugs to curb their appetites in recent months, such as Oprah Winfrey and Rebel Wilson.

But others have let their noticeable transformations lead to fan speculation – with tonight being no different.

Among the slender stars were Selena Gomez and Sarah Snook.

The Bear's Abby Elliott, Young & Hungry sitcom star Aimee Carrero and Constance Zimmer of Entourage fame also showcased their slimmed down physiques.
