Kris Jenner removes iconic ‘KUWTK’ mansion from sale

Kris Jenner has yet again removed the iconic 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' mansion off the market after possibly having 'second thoughts' over selling the home. (Instagram)

Around a year ago, reports confirmed that Kris Jenner had decided to put the iconic ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ mansion on the market. The online personality had been ready to part ways with the beloved house that appeared in most of the episodes of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians ’; however, new reports indicate Jenner is planning on holding on to the mansion for the time being.

Kris Jenner pulls the ‘KUWTK’ house from the market

Jenner has officially pulled the iconic mansion where most of the episodes of ‘KUWTK’ were filmed off the market. The news comes after the house had been up for sale for more than a year. ELLE Decor reported the news and shared that the mansion, which had earlier been listed for USD 13.5 million, has officially been put on hold, according to property records.Zillow reported that the house was first bought for USD 4 million in 2010 and has been under Jenner’s ownership for the past 16 years.

Earlier this year, in May, the home had been briefly removed from the listing; however, she soon put it back up on the market for the same asking price. However, four months later, it has been confirmed yet again that the reality show house is no longer on the market.In another report shared by TMZ, Jenner may have had second thoughts about the home. A statement from the report read, "Kris hesitated to move forward... not because of a lack of interest, but because she started reconsidering the bigger picture.”

The property is located in Hidden Hills and spans 8,860 square feet. The mansion features around 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, along with the famous black-and-white checkered foyer with a double staircase that has appeared in many episodes. Along with this, the home also features a massive chef’s kitchen covered in white, along with a large dining table and clear, cushioned chairs for the entire family.Last year, when she first listed the property on the market, the Jenner family matriarch revealed that she was ready for the house to move on to its next chapter.

While talking to The New York Times then, she mentioned, “I’ve shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I’m excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners.” She also revealed during the interview that she had spent millions of dollars on the house over the years on renovations and other amenities.During the season 7 premiere of the ‘KUWTK’ OTT spin-off show, ‘The Kardashians,' the Jenner family looked back at their time in the house, where both Kylie and Kendall spent their growing years. When asked why she was selling the house, Kris simply replied, “Cash, of course.” The family then decided that holding one last family dinner in the house would be a nice memory for all of them to share.
