NTSB releases new videos, images from deadly Philadelphia jet crash

Translate

PHILADELPHIA -- Federal investigators are providing a new look at the moments leading up to and following last year's deadly medical jet crash in Philadelphia.

The National Transportation Safety Board on Tuesday released its public docket, which includes newly released videos, images, data and other factual information gathered during the investigation.

Some of the videos show the aircraft at Northeast Philadelphia Airport before takeoff.

The crash occurred on Jan. 31, 2025, and killed eight people.

A preliminary NTSB report found that the medical jet was airborne for less than a minute before it rapidly descended and crashed along Cottman Avenue.

The newly released materials are part of the agency's ongoing investigation into what caused the aircraft to fall from the sky.

Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
