Watch: BBC in the Philippines where Thomas Markle is expected to be investigated

Translate

A court in the Philippines is expected to issue a warrant later today authorising police to examine materials taken from the home of Thomas Markle, the father of the Duchess of Sussex.

The materials are alleged to include child pornography. Markle has strongly denied possessing any child abuse material.

BBC's Jonathan Head is in Cebu, reporting from outside the home where Markle last resided, prior to his return to the US earlier this year.
