Rodri to miss Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid clash with hamstring injury

Barcelona will be without midfielder Rodri for its upcoming La Liga 2026-27 clash against Atletico Madrid on Sunday, the club has announced.
The Spaniard suffered a hamstring injury during Barcelona’s 3-0 win against Aston Villa in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday and was substituted at half-time.
“Rodrigo Hernández has undergone medical tests following the muscle discomfort he experienced during yesterday’s match against Aston Villa. The tests have confirmed a minor injury to his right hamstring,” Barcelona said in a statement.

“He will miss next Sunday’s match against Atlético Madrid. His exact recovery time will depend on how the injury develops,” it added.
The Catalans lead the league standings with 30 points from 11 games, two ahead of Atletico Madrid in second.
