CALAPAN CITY — All mountaineering activities at the Mount Guiting-Guiting Natural Park in Romblon have been suspended from Nov. 1 this year to Jan. 31, 2027, to allow the rehabilitation of the mountain’s flora and fauna.

In a notice, the Mt. Guiting-Guiting Natural Park Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) said regular mountaineering operations would resume on Feb. 1, 2027.
