Fierce rivals Everton and Liverpool put their differences aside on Saturday to come together for the Game4Hope.

The inaugural edition of the charity match sees football legends and celebrities take to the pitch at the Hill Dickinson Stadium – with a Merseyside side up against a Rest of the World XI.

Game4Hope was created to raise funds for Shelter and Everton in the Community to help tackle homelessness.

True Merseyside footballing royalty will be on show, including Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, and Robbie Fowler, as well as management duo Peter Reid and John Barnes.

The Rest of the World squad is no joke either, with a squad that includes Brazilian World Cup winners Cafu and Rivaldo, and Netherlands trio Clarence Seedorf, Jaap Stam and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, among others.

The best part? UK football fans can tune in to watch the match for free!

Game4Hope kicks off at 4:45pm on Saturday 26 September 2026.
