MANILA, Philippines — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) may bring rain to Southern Luzon, parts of the Visayas and Mindanao, PAGASA said.
In its weather forecast on Sunday, October 11, PAGASA said that Mindanao, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas and Negros Island Region may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
The rest of Visayas may also expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
PAGASA warned residents of these areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Nueva Ecija and Bulacan may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Batanes may also expect cloudy skies with rain due to the northeasterly wind flow.
The rest of Luzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
