MANILA, Philippines — Face-to-face classes are suspended in several areas on Monday, October 5, for the celebration of National Teachers’ Day.

Republic Act No. 10743 declares every fifth day of October each year as National Teachers’ Day in recognition of the role of educators in shaping the nation.
