Pizza party! Gozney Local taking over Melbourne

An epic pizza party is taking place across Melbourne over the next week. Dubbed Gozney Local, the event will mean some of the city’s favourite hangouts are putting pizza on the menu, all kicking off with a courtyard party at Hope St Radio on Sunday, November 8. Expect DJ tracks, wine and the return of the Hope St Hawaiian, a sour cream and onion chip slice, and a mortadella pizza with toum, XO and stracciatella.

Other events throughout the week include fish charcuterie, seafood pizzas, hot dogs and burgers at Carlton’s sustainable seafood restaurant, Cordelia, on Wednesday, November 11. Meanwhile, five pizza joints including Leonardo’s Pizza Palace and Thornbury’s Pizza Elettrica will each field a bowls team on Sunday, November 15, at the Fitzroy Bowls Club and serve a signature pizza for the day, with DJs on the decks all afternoon.
