Roma are in Serie A action away against Torino on Monday night, but the Giallorossi have a late doubt regarding wing-back Wesley according to the latest updates in Italy.

Report: Wesley a late doubt for Torino vs. Roma
Wesley has started in all three of Roma’s Serie A matches in the early stages of the 2026-27 season, but according to reports from the Corriere dello Sport on Monday afternoon, his inclusion in the starting XI for this evening’s match against Torino is now in doubt.
The Brazilian reportedly felt a muscular discomfort in his leg during Roma’s final training session ahead of the Torino clash and it remains to be seen whether the Giallorossi medical staff will recommend resting him on precautionary grounds or whether to allow him to play.
Wesley himself is said to be eager to grit his teeth and play on through the pain according to the Corriere dello Sport.
Roma will return to the top of the Serie A standings with a positive result away against Torino on Monday night.
They have won all of their first three league matches of the 2026-27 campaign: A 4-0 thrashing of Fiorentina, another 4-0 victory away against Lecce and a 2-1 win over Gian Piero Gasperini’s former club, Atalanta.
Roma come into Monday night’s game sat in second place in the Serie A table on nine points. A draw away against Torino will see them draw level with Lazio at the top of the standings on 10 points, whilst a victory will see them move into first place on 12 points.
Reigning champions Inter also have nine points and will be in action against Udinese later on Monday night.
