Manny Pacquiao hosts Polish president Karol Nawrocki for Manila boxing workout

Translate

Polish President Karol Nawrocki trains in Manila with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, who now leads the Philippines’ National Anti-Poverty Commission.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki joins Manny Pacquiao for a special boxing session in Manila, stepping into the ring with the eight-division world champion.

Nawrocki stretches and works out alongside the former champion during the meeting.

A lifelong combat sports enthusiast, Nawrocki is visiting the Philippines and took the opportunity to meet one of the country's best-known athletes.

Pacquiao was appointed head of the National Anti-Poverty Commission last month, moving into a new role in public service. He has compared tackling poverty to boxing, saying both require discipline, resilience and determination.

The training provided a lighter moment during the Polish president's visit.
