Kris Aquino says no longer as ‘maarte’ as before: ‘I’ve toned down’

Kris Aquino responded to a netizen who praised her “trademark kaartehan” in her comeback content, saying she has since “toned down” and is no longer as finicky as she used to be.

The Queen of All Media previously returned to the limelight through her stint as Chief Head of Insight and Kontent Analysis, or “CHIKA,” at streaming platform Netflix.

In the latest episode featuring Aquino portraying the role, an Instagram user remarked, “Gotta love her trademark Kris kaartehan that only she can pull off.”

In response, Aquino wrote, “Will you believe me if I say I am no longer as ‘maarte’ kaya lang for the material to work I need to go back to how I was?”

She further expressed her desire to host a reality show again so viewers could see the difference for themselves.

“I would love to do a reality show para makita at marinig niyo how much I have toned down, in my opinion by at least 30%,” she said. “For most maarte pa rin, for me pang school library na.”
