The American midfielder was substituted at half-time in Juventus’ 2-0 win over Napoli on Sunday, but exams the following day only showed muscle fatigue.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are not training today as Spalletti has given his players a day off.

The team will return to Continassa tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, when McKennie will be assessed.

It remains to be seen whether Spalletti will take the American to the Netherlands or leave him in Turin to rest ahead of the next Serie A match against Fiorentina on Sunday.
