‘Tonight Show’: Jimmy Fallon & Jamie Lee Curtis Channel Fielder & Holmes In Cold Open

Translate

As Jimmy Fallon gears up for Halloween, he and his latest talk show guest nailed their take on You Can See Everything.

On Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show, the 6x Emmy-winning host channeled his inner Nathan Fielder to grill Jamie Lee Curtis as Elizabeth Holmes during the NBC talk show’s cold open.

“Be honest, do you really want to be on the show tonight,” asked Fallon, mimicking Fielder’s line of questioning in the much meme-ified teaser, as Curtis responded in her most convincing Holmes voice, “Of course I do. I love talking to you.”

Fallon asked, “So, you’re not just here to promote your new show Newlyweds?”

As the pair continued to reenact the You Can See Everything scene, Fallon seemed satisfied with her answers before giving her some privacy. “Thank god! Fuck, what an asshole,” said Curtis, breaking Holmes’ stiff facade.

The late-night parody of You Can See Everything comes as the Lance Oppenheim-helmed doc surpasses $45M worldwide in A24’s slow-burn expanding release, building buzz for its acclaimed portrait of the incarcerated Theranos founder.
