BTN commits to supporting Prabowo's Three Million Homes Program

Palu, C Sulawesi (ANTARA) - PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) is committed to helping complete President Prabowo Subianto’s Three Million Homes Program, expanding support beyond subsidized mortgages to small businesses.
BTN Commercial Banking Director Hermita said the program targets two housing-loan schemes: the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) and the Housing Program Credit (KPP).
“Previously, we focused only on FLPP. Now, there is KPP,” Hermita said in Palu, Central Sulawesi, on Sunday.
FLPP is a government-backed housing financing facility for low-income households, with interest subsidies making mortgage payments more affordable and fixed until the loans are fully repaid.
KPP, meanwhile, offers preferential interest rates to low-income communities, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises. It provides affordable financing to expand businesses while supporting access to decent housing.
“With FLPP, you can only buy a house. With KPP, you can build or renovate an existing house, particularly for online businesses,” she said.
Of the 160,000 FLPP units allocated by the government, 78,000 had been realized as of September 2026, according to Hermita.
KPP, she said, is supported by an integrated ecosystem spanning housing construction through sales. KPP Supply provides government-backed working-capital or investment financing through banks such as BTN.
“The program targets housing developers, construction service providers or contractors, as well as building-material traders or suppliers,” she said.
BTN has also offered FLPP financing with terms of up to 40 years. The longer tenure enables lower monthly payments, while interest rates remain fixed throughout the loan period.
“This allows more people to benefit from the government’s subsidies,” she said.
