Around 60,000 fans flocked to Washington Monument show that raised funds for Sudan, Lebanon, and Palestinians in Gaza

Turnstile closed out their Never Enough Pt. 2 Tour over the weekend with a massive free concert at the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. A reported 60,000 fans flocked to the event, which benefited Human Concern International’s relief efforts for Sudan, Lebanon, and Palestinians living in Gaza.

The Baltimore band’s original goal was to raise $150,000. As of Monday morning, they’ve raised approximately $261,000, according to the show’s ongoing LaunchGood page.

The Washington, D.C. show was announced earlier this month, following the band’s debut performance on Saturday Night Live. “We’re so grateful to have been raised by this scene,” frontman Brendan Yates told the crowd, according to Pitchfork. “One that taught us that music not only reflects the artist making it but the people and the world and the suffering and the joy that surrounds it.”

The concert mirrored their free, hometown show where they played Baltimore’s Wyman Park Dell from last May. During that show, Turnstile raised $35,000 for Maryland nonprofit Health Care for the Homeless.

Turnstile released their fourth album Never Enough in 2025. The band was nominated for four Grammys and won two, including Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance for “Birds.” A reimagined version, Never Enough: Versions, arrived this summer featuring covers by Sir Elton John, Slayyyter, Hayley Williams, Four Tet, Nourished by Time, and more.

This May, former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert was charged with the attempted murder of Yates’ father in March. The band severe ties with Ebert in 2022 due to “a consistent pattern of harmful behavior” and “threatening violence.” A competency evaluation in September determined Ebert is mentally unfit to stand trial at this time and will be reevaluated on Jan. 19, 2027, per the Baltimore Banner. He faces life in prison.

Turnstile’s next show is at Tyler, the Creator’s music festival Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles, CA on Nov. 14 and 15.
