There was early arrival of ad hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission at different polling units within Ilesa metropolis on Saturday as the Osun State governorship election holds across the state.

Our correspondent monitoring the exercise in Ilesa reports that ad hoc staff arrived early at Ward 1, Unit 8, Ilesa West, and Ward 8, Unit 3, Ilesa West Local Government Area.

Many voters were also observed checking their names on the register pasted close to the polling booths.

Supervisory Presiding Officer for Ward 1, Unit 8, Ilesa West Local Government, Segun Adegbaju, said voting would commence by 8:30am.

“We are waiting to start by 8:30am. We are not having any challenge. Security is good and the voters are coming to check their names,” he said.
