When ‘The Paradise’ star Nani revealed buying farmhouse for his grandfather

As Nani celebrates the release of 'The Paradise,' a deeply personal story from the actor’s family life has offered a glimpse into the man behind the star. His Chevella farmhouse in Telangana is more than a getaway from the bustle of Hyderabad. Nani bought the property with his grandfather in mind, hoping to recreate the natural surroundings he had grown up with.The actor had previously opened up about the decision during his appearance on The Rana Daggubati Show. Recalling his grandfather’s difficulty adjusting to city life, Nani explained that he purchased the land when his grandfather was 96.“I bought the land when he was 96. He was someone who grew up among nature, right? I wanted to give him the energy from trees, and a familiar atmosphere,” Nani recalled.Nani says grandfather struggled with city lifeAccording to Nani, his grandfather had developed health problems after living in the city and also experienced memory-related difficulties.

The actor wanted to create an environment that felt familiar to him and allowed him to reconnect with nature.Nani recalled how his grandfather’s routine changed after spending more time at the farmhouse.“He used to have memory issues at home. Now, he goes for walks and does exercises. There used to be a time when he couldn’t recollect a lot of things, now he recognises my movies, names, etc…” he said.For Nani, seeing his grandfather become more active and engaged made the farmhouse particularly meaningful.

Nani’s farmhouse is also a family spaceThe Chevella property has since become a space where Nani and his family can spend time away from the city. The family grows vegetables there and also rears cattle. Nani has previously shared that his son Arjun named the cows Bheem, Radha and Krishna.Explaining why the connection with nature matters to him, Nani said, “Birds should stay in their own habitat.
