Mavo responds as old posts on Davido, Ayra Starr and others resurface

Mavo in a series of posts on social media has responded to the reactions that have trailed his old posts on Davido, Ayra Starr and others.

Nigerian singer Mavo has responded to criticism surrounding his resurfaced old tweets, dismissing those revisiting his past social media posts and urging them to focus on their own lives.

The fast-rising Afrobeats star became the subject of discussions on X after some of his previous posts resurfaced, drawing reactions from social media users.

Rather than directly addressing the contents of the old tweets, Mavo appeared unbothered by the controversy, taking to X to respond to those criticising him.

“ppl go just wake up dey cry for nothing!! oga go work! 😂” he wrote.

In a subsequent post, the singer pointed to his achievements at a young age, questioning why people were still interested in examining his past opinions.

“i have a record label and a storefront at 22, pls get your life together & stop dissecting my past thoughts,” he added.

His response suggests that the singer is more concerned with his current achievements than revisiting statements he made in the past.
