Steam Drops Incredible New Free Game With 98% Positive Reviews

There's no doubt that Steam has absolutely become the dominant platform for gaming experiences on the PC, and at some point we all have to hold our hands up and just say that it's because they provide the biggest range of options and the best ecosystem for a large community. Of those options there are plenty of free releases out there that give us the chance to have a great time at the weekend without spending any of our hard-earned cash.

Regardless of which genre you're into for the most part, there should be something out there that doesn't require you to part with your money, and the storefront even has dedicated filters to point you in the right direction. Now, one of those new free releases seems to be making a splash with those who have played it so far and it promises to be a game unlike most the you'll have played to date.

Over on the aformentioned Steam, you should be able to find the store page for Foole's World, a point-and-click visual novel that essentially functions as a personality test for the player. If you scan the existing materials for the game, it actually appears to be quite a mysterious experience and difficult to unpack, but the developer did include the following list of features to help you decide:

• Approximately an hour of playtime, though it might be much more if you are an indecisive specimen.
• Over half a hundred questions to ponder, with your answers culminating in a designated alignment.
• Over ten unique areas to look around, masterfully crafted by the one and only me.
• Dynamic dialogue which changes depending on previous answers, thanks to my excellent conversational skills.
• A glimpse into my origins, shrouded in secrecy though they may be.

The game appears to be making a real impression on those who have taken a chance on it so far, as it sits on Very Positive reviews from 135 individual rounds of feedback. "This game will change you. Tackling the hardest hitting questions that make you reflect on your experiences and so forth, especially great with a friend reacting to your choices. Really recommend this game to others," one said.

While another added, "Such a unique and deeply engaging experience. I enjoyed every minute. Short and to the point as it was (which i think ultimately is a boon) I was left wanting more."
