Yusif Sulemana donates GH¢10,000 to Bole Nursing College TEIN, urges students to prioritise academics

The Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, Yusif Sulemana, has urged members of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Bole Nurses and Midwifery Training College to prioritise their academic work while remaining committed to the party.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the MP shared his nostalgic experience of joining the TEIN family at the college for the swearing-in of new executives and a welcoming ceremony for fresh students.

Mr Sulemana said the gathering provided an opportunity to interact with student activists and encourage them to take their studies seriously.

He stressed that academic excellence should remain a priority for students, adding that the NDC had a track record of rewarding TEIN comrades who demonstrate academic competence and loyalty to the party. He urged students to combine their political involvement with a strong commitment to their education.

To inspire the students, the Deputy Minister pointed to several former TEIN members and leaders who now occupy various positions in the current government.

He cited their progress as evidence that dedication to both academic work and party activities can create opportunities, encouraging students to stay focused on their ambitions while contributing meaningfully to the NDC.

As part of his support for the newly inaugurated executives, Mr Sulemana donated GH¢10,000 to assist the leadership in carrying out its activities.

He also pledged his continued and unwavering support for the group as it begins its work. The gesture, he indicated, was intended to strengthen the new leadership and encourage its members to remain active and committed to their responsibilities within the TEIN fraternity.
