One Piece season 3 is adding even more familiar faces.
Netflix's live-action adaptation has cast key figures in the Battle of Alabasta as the series' 2027 return window continues to approach. One Piece season 3, subtitled The Battle of Alabasta, sees Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates finally make it to the desert kingdom, intent on defeating Baroque Works and reuniting Vivi with her father. However, many challenges are in store, including the crime syndicate's leader, Crocodile, whose plans to take control of the Kingdom will be at the forefront of the upcoming episodes. Season 3 is filmed and will be released next year.
Now, Netflix has confirmed that One Piece season 3 has cast a number of important allies in Alabasta, who will have key roles to play in the story moving forward. This includes: Emilio Sakraya as Koza, leader of a rebellion against Alabasta royalty; Omid Abtahi as Toto, an old man with a past connection to Vivi; Jamie Ward as Pell, the strongest warrior in Alabasta; and Nabeel Khan as Chaka, the new captain of Alabasta's royal guard. All four characters have significant roles in the Alabasta Arc, and, subsequently, its forthcoming live-action adaptation.
