PSB Academy evolves into a multi-campus network for specialised learning

PSB Academy, a private education institution in Singapore, recently unveiled a new multi-campus learning ecosystem, marking a significant milestone in its evolution as it reimagines how higher education is delivered through dedicated learning environments tailored to students’ disciplines and the industries they aspire to join.

PSB Academy’s new Integrated STEAM Hub is located in Tai Seng. It comprises two campuses: the Health and Life Sciences Campus, which will also house the Academy’s new headquarters, and the Engineering, Technology and Communication Campus.

A third new campus, located at SingPost Centre, will be dedicated to business and management and foundation studies courses. These new campuses will complement the Academy’s existing Cathay Campus, which opened in 2025. Together, the expanded campus network reflects a strategic shift from a traditional campus model towards purpose-built learning environments that strengthen practical education, drive greater collaboration with industry and create capacity for future growth.

Spanning over 220,000 square feet, the three new campuses will increase PSB Academy’s campus space by about 60%. This includes three levels at the campus at SingPost Centre, five levels at the Health and Life Sciences Campus, and two levels at the Engineering, Technology and Communication Campus. The new campuses are expected to open progressively within the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approval. Separately, PSB Academy’s existing campus at The Cathay spans 43,280 square feet across two levels.

The move comes as PSB Academy continues to see growing demand across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) disciplines, alongside its core Business and Management courses. STEAM enrolment has grown steadily in recent years, increasing by around 20% year-on-year for the past three years.

Building on its 62-year heritage of developing industry-ready graduates, the Academy’s latest investment reflects its continued evolution to meet the changing needs of students and employers. The expanded campus network will support PSB Academy’s current student population, while preparing for future growth through increased campus space, expanded facilities and greater capacity across its new campuses.

Designed around the way students learn and industries operate, each campus offers facilities tailored to its respective disciplines. The Integrated STEAM Hub will house advanced laboratories and industry-grade equipment, including new facilities like a cyber range laboratory for cyber security simulation training, a nursing practicum laboratory and a dedicated space to test and fly drones. It will also be home to PSB Academy’s new School of Design and Communication, equipped with professional media production facilities and design tools where students can get hands-on practice to complement what they learn in class.

Meanwhile, the campus at SingPost Centre will provide a dedicated environment for business and management students within the Paya Lebar commercial district, while the campus at The Cathay will continue to serve students from its central location.

PSB ACADEMY’S SINGPOST CENTRE CAMPUS. The Paya Lebar location, designed by DP Architects, will provide dedicated learning spaces for business, management, and foundation studies.

Located across Tai Seng, Paya Lebar and the city centre, the campuses also place students within established and emerging business precincts, providing convenient access to public transport, industry partners and lifestyle amenities.

“This marks an important milestone for PSB Academy as we continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our students. In bringing together specialised campuses for different disciplines, we’re creating spaces where learning feels more relevant, more immersive and more connected to the careers our students are working towards. It’s about giving them greater opportunities to learn practically, using the kinds of facilities and technologies they will encounter beyond graduation. At the same time, these campuses will allow us to work closely with our partners to keep our courses current and ensure our students are well prepared for what’s next,” shares Derrick Chang, chief executive officer of PSB Academy.

PSB ACADEMY’S EXPANDED CAMPUS NETWORK. The new locations will offer purpose-built facilities tailored to students across STEAM, business, design, and communication disciplines.

The new campus network further strengthens PSB Academy’s ability to collaborate with employers through applied learning, curriculum development and industry engagement, ensuring students graduate with practical skills that meet the needs of an evolving workforce.
