Emmerdale reveals Thea attack aftermath as she's rushed to hospital

Emmerdale has teased details of the aftermath following DS Thea Ramsden's attack, with Kim Tate having an anxious wait as she is forced to reckon with her guilt after harming a police officer.
In advanced spoilers for the ITV soap, it has already been confirmed that Kim and Thea - who, unbeknownst to Kim, are mother and daughter - get in a scuffle later this week following the abduction of Joe Tate's son.

On Sunday (25 October), Kim enlisted the help of the detective sergeant after receiving a ransom demand following the kidnapping, but things will take a turn later this week as a panicked Kim attacks Thea after being frightened at Home Farm.
The police officer is stabbed in the incident before subsequently being rushed to hospital after passing out, and a first-look scene - which can be viewed below - from Thursday's (29 October) episode depicts the moment where Thea's life is in danger.
Kim rushes to the hospital with Thea under her arms and immediately calls for some help, with the police officer being taken away. Kim is grilled about what happened, and is told to contact the police immediately.
She nervously asks the hospital worker if Thea will be okay, and - literally - looks at the blood that is on her hands. But as she faces an anxious wait about her long-lost daughter's health, will Kim be able to live with herself?
It remains to be seen if Thea will pull through, but Claire King, who plays Kim, admitted that her character faces a nervous wait. And if she were to ever find out that Thea was her daughter, all hell could break loose.

"If Thea dies, Kim could end up back in prison," said the actor. "Obviously, Kim would be beside herself if she knew Thea was actually her daughter. She thought she'd lost her 27 years ago, now she could lose her forever!"
While all this is going on, Graham Foster manages to find baby Tate, who is safe and sound at the stables on Home Farm. It's not all good news, though, as he is shocked to discover the identity of the kidnapper.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
