Cool to the touch all night long

Nectar memory foam mattresses are ideal for hot sleepers, with a cool-to-the-touch sleeping surface. The foam relieves pressure on your joints, conforms to your body and responds to your movement through the night, helping support your body while cooling you (and minimizing movement for a partner sleeping in the same bed).

You can choose from Classic, Premier and Luxe memory foam mattresses. As you move up the line, the cooling and pressure-relieving properties double and triple.

If you're an especially hot sleeper, consider the Ultra memory foam mattress, which has four times the cooling properties of the Classic model. It contains a separate sheet of phase change materials layered on top of the memory foam to help regulate temperature. Phase change materials in the Nectar Ultra can absorb or release heat as they change phase. That means it pulls heat away from your body when you're too warm and releases heat back out towards your body when you're too cold, so you always stay at the perfect temperature throughout the night.

There are more than 200 5-star reviews, many of which praise the cooling properties. "Absolutely the best mattress I have ever laid my head on," said one reviewer. "First night was the best night's sleep I have had in years. The comfort of the mattress helped me fall asleep quickly and the cooling effect helped me sleep all night."

All of Nectar's foam used is CertiPUR-US certified, which means it's free from ozone-depleting substances and harmful pollutants.

What about hybrid mattresses?

Hybrid mattresses combine the pressure-relieving support of memory foam with innerspring coils. These help with reducing motion transfer, which is perfect for those sleeping with partners. Nectar's Hybrid Luxe mattress would be ideal for extremely hot sleepers who toss and turn or have partners that move in their sleep.

The coils allow for more airflow in your mattress, rather than air getting trapped in the dense memory foam. There are Premier and Luxe versions of the hybrid mattress, which get more and more cooling as you move up the line.

NectarCool technology: The optional upgrade

For an additional cost, NectarCool is an optional cover upgrade on eligible Nectar Classic, Premier, and Luxe memory foam and hybrid models. It adds cooling polyethylene fibers to the cover for a cooler-to-the-touch feel, designed to bring down your temperature as you sleep.

How the NectarCool upgrade fits each tier

• Classic: The standard cover has a cool-to-the-touch feel; NectarCool adds more cooling fibers.
• Premier: The standard cover has about 60% more cooling fibers than Classic; NectarCool adds more to that cover.
• Luxe: The standard cover has about twice as many cooling fibers as Classic; NectarCool adds more to the Luxe cover.
• Ultra: The separate NectarCool cover upgrade isn’t offered since Ultra already includes top-tier cooling with four times more cooling fibers and phase-change material as the standard.
