New Zealand fast bowler Bree Illing, who has set her base price at Rs. 30 lakh, is among four players added to the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction list on Tuesday evening.

Delhi’s Medhavi Bidhuri, who impressed with her all-round skills in the Women’s Delhi Premier League (DPL), along with Avanya Jain and Samaira Raghav, have also been included. All three have a base price of Rs. 10 lakh.

The additions take the total number of players in the auction pool to 150, with 27 slots up for grabs across the five franchises. The auction will be held in Kochi on Wednesday, October 28, beginning at 5.30 p.m. IST.

UP Warriorz will enter the auction with the biggest purse, having released the most players ahead of the event. It has Rs. 3.75 crore available and eight slots to fill, including five for Indian players and three for overseas recruits.

Gujarat Giants have Rs. 1.25 crore to spend, followed by defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru (Rs. 1.15 crore), four-time runner-up Delhi Capitals (Rs. 1.10 crore) and Mumbai Indians (Rs. 90 lakh).

Vadodara and Mumbai are likely to host the next edition of the WPL.
