Malaysians unharmed in Riyadh airport attack, says Wisma Putra

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: No Malaysian casualties were reported following an attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, yesterday, Wisma Putra said today.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said it and the Malaysian Embassy in Riyadh were in contact with several Malaysians who were travelling and had been stranded to provide consular assistance.

"Malaysians residing in, transiting through or planning to travel to Saudi Arabia are advised to remain vigilant.

"As flight disruptions continue, those planning to travel in the near future are advised to check their flight status directly with their airlines before heading to the airport.

"Malaysians are also advised to prepare for possible flight delays or cancellations, follow updates through official channels and comply fully with safety instructions issued by local authorities," it said.
