Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2027 will simulcast on Disney+, alongside the live broadcast on ABC, for the first time in the program’s 55-year history.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will welcome comedian and actor Druski as the Chicago co-host. Recording artist, actress and entertainer Rita Ora returns to co-host from New York’s Times Square, and multi-hyphenate performer Julianne Hough and NFL legend Rob Gronkowski will return to lead celebrations from Las Vegas.
Druski, 32, has risen quickly in the past couple of years thanks to his sketch comedy and music video collaborations with such high-profile musicians as Drake, Lil Yachty and Jack Harlow. In 2025, he became the first comedian ever to grace the cover of Billboard’s annual year-end “No. 1’s” issue. On June 28, he hosted the BET Awards for the first time, becoming the youngest host in that show’s history. He was featured on the cover of TIME 100 Next 2026, which recognizes influential rising stars, and was named the No. 1 most influential creator of 2026 by Rolling Stone.
The telecast’s streaming debut follows a record-breaking 2026 edition that further cemented Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve as television’s premier New Year’s Eve destination. The expanded eight-hour celebration, the longest telecast and largest artist lineup in the show’s history, featured 42 performers, four live countdown celebrations, and nearly 100 songs from New York City’s Times Square, Las Vegas, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Nashville, Kansas City and beyond.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 reached 46 million total viewers, making it the night’s No. 1 television program. More than 30 million viewers watched the iconic Times Square ball drop at midnight, while the 11:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. hour alone attracted nearly 20 million viewers. The show’s expanded late-night coverage also delivered its strongest performance in eight years, with the post-midnight broadcast nearly doubling the previous year’s audience.
The nationwide iHeartRadio simulcast reached 2 million listeners across nearly 150 iHeartRadio stations, a 9% increase over the previous year. Social engagement also reached new heights.
Additional details for this year’s broadcast will be announced in the coming months. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2027 is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Seacrest, Michael Dempsey, Jay Penske and Barry Adelman serving as executive producers.
Dick Clark launched the program as a more youthful alternative to bandleader Guy Lombardo’s long-running New Year’s Eve specials on CBS.
The first edition, titled Three Dog Night’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, aired on NBC on Dec. 31, 1972, and was hosted by the members of that popular pop/rock band. The special featured pre-recorded performances from Helen Reddy and Billy Preston, in addition to Three Dog Night (all of whom had million-selling hits in 1972). Clark served as a reporter from Times Square for live coverage of the ball drop and arrival of 1973.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2027 is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
