Melissa Hirschenson Exits Innovative, Launches The Hirschenson Group
EXCLUSIVE: We have learned that senior talent agent Melissa Hirschenson is launching The Hirschenson Group, a new management and entertainment consulting company.
The Hirschenson Group will work across traditional and emerging areas of entertainment, with a focus on talent management, creators, entertainment consulting and strategic brand partnerships.
Hirschenson has spent over two decades at Innovative Artists Entertainment, building a talent roster that has included Paul Anthony Kelly (Love Story), Lydia Peckham (Nuremberg), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Jack Dylan Grazer (It), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Emily Ratajkowski, Emily Bader, Angela Sarafyan, Bella Thorne & Sinqua Walls, among many others.
Originally from Miami, Hirschenson started her career in the mid 90s opening envelopes and sorting headshots for legendary casting directors Janet Hirshenson and Jane Jenkins. She later moved into talent representation.
In announcing the move, Hirschenson said, “I want to embrace this changing business without losing sight of what has always mattered most to me: the human being at the center of it.”
