Billboard Español Celebrates Its 4th Anniversary: Here’s Every Cover

Translate

Billboard Español covers

Billboard Español is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a retrospective of every cover we have published since that inaugural issue in September 2022, which featured Colombian superstar Camilo.

These 30 covers tell the exclusive, captivating and moving stories that have defined the pulse of Latin music. Who could forget the cover marking RBD’s return to the stage after 15 years, or the one featuring a group of Venezuelan artists committed to raising their voices beyond music? Also included are two covers featuring Puerto Rico’s undisputed global superstar Bad Bunny, Karol G’s No. 1s and the highly anticipated — yet surprising — team-up between Romeo Santos and Prince Royce for a collaborative album.

Some of them we produced at home in the U.S, but for others, we crossed borders and even oceans. Maná welcomed us in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in the very hotel room where the band created many of its hits. We met Carín León in Aguascalientes, amid a series of concerts at the San Marcos Fair’s Palenque. We interviewed Laura Pausini in Rome ahead of the release of her album Yo Canto 2 and its accompanying world tour. And more recently, we traveled to Madrid to see Kany García headline one of the key shows of her biggest and most ambitious tour yet: the Puerta Abierta Tour.

These 30 covers represent our commitment to music journalism of the highest quality and professionalism — the very standard that has established us as one of the most widely read specialized Spanish-language entertainment media outlets in the world. And there is much more to come!

Below, enjoy all our covers to date and revisit each of the accompanying stories, all available also in English, in chronological order.
