Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter stun in blue gowns at Academy Museum Gala

The annual event took place on Saturday at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles – raising funds for its exhibitions, film screenings, community programmes and educational initiatives.

Now in its sixth year, the gala celebrates the museum’s mission to preserve and showcase cinema.

Swift, 36 – who recently tied the knot with NFL player Travis Kelce, appeared to channel bridal glamour in a custom Dior gown featuring a strapless silhouette, exaggerated hips and a crystal-covered bodice.

A sparkling bow and lace-up detailing completed the icy blue design, which she accessorised with diamond chandelier earrings, platinum rings and a tennis bracelet.

The star completed the look with loosely curled hair and pink lipstick.

The Odyssey star Theron made a statement in a sheer black gown featuring intricate lace panels and a mesh skirt that revealed her legs.
