Poland PM Donald Tusk to visit India on October 21 for three-day visit

PRIME MINISTER of Poland Donald Tusk will be visiting India from October 21 to 23, and will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Monday.
The visit would serve to deepen the India-EU strategic partnership, it said.
This would be Tusk’s second visit to India in his capacity as the Prime Minister of Poland, the first being during his earlier tenure in 2010.
Tusk, who is coming at the invitation of Modi, will be accompanied by Andrzej Domanski, Minister of Finance and Economy, and a large business delegation, the MEA said in a statement.
Tusk will hold bilateral talks with Modi on October 22, with both leaders reviewing the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, which was elevated to a Strategic Partnership during the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Poland in August 2024, it said.
“They will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. PM Donald Tusk will also travel to Bengaluru, where he will engage with various business stakeholders, including from the IT and space sectors,” the MEA said.
An India-Poland Business Forum shall be held on October 22 in New Delhi and on October 23 in Bengaluru, it said. “The visit will provide the opportunity to further strengthen the India-Poland Strategic Partnership and advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, defence, emerging technologies, renewable energy, education, culture and people-to-people ties,” the MEA said.
