Coronation Street first look as Lucy lashes out at Sally in shock scene

Coronation Street has revealed another clash for Sally Metcalfe and Lucy Parkinson, amid ongoing tensions between the pair. Despite Sally's efforts to support the troubled teenager, Lucy becomes violent and lashes out.

Viewers know that Sally has struggled to connect with Lucy, who the Metcalfes have been looking after since her mum's death. Though Lucy has been pleasant to her uncle Tim, poor Sally has become something of a target.

Earlier this month, Lucy marked her skin to make it seem like Sally had inflicted the injury while discipling her. And in upcoming episodes, Lucy's anger escalates when she sees Sally looking at her things.

In a newly released spoiler clip for Tuesday's episode, Sally continues her duties as a foster carer, despite Lucy's troubling behaviour. She calls up the stairs, inviting the teen to join her for lunch.

When Lucy ignores the soup options offered, Sally's frustration is clear. As she returns to the kitchen she notices Lucy's folder that has been left on the counter.

While flicking through the drawings, Sally pulls out a picture of a distressed woman who is grabbing her head and screaming. She is interrupted by Lucy who is visibly fuming at the sight of Sally touching her art project.

"Is this your mum?" a concerned Sally asks, before Lucy snatches the picture from her hands.

In the scuffle, the picture gets torn in half, leaving Lucy incensed. She grabs the nearest item, throwing it at Sally's face - just as Tim arrives home.

The youngster looks shocked at her violent outburst, but storms away without dealing with the consequences. How will Tim react after finally witnessing her worrying behaviour?

Later, a sheepish Lucy returns to the house and apologises to Tim, who quickly forgives her. She also eventually apologises to Sally, claiming that she reminds her of her mum. But is she genuinely regretful or could this be another scheme?
