Salman Khan's visit to politician Ashish Shelar's Ganpati pandal in Mumbai turned chaotic as a large crowd gathered outside the venue. The actor attended the Ganpati celebrations on Thursday and was preparing to leave when fans and photographers crowded around him.

With little space to reach his car, Salman Khan folded his hands and asked the gathering to make way.The actor remained calm despite the commotion. He was surrounded by security personnel as he made his way through the crowd. Videos shared by fan pages on X captured the moment. Salman Khan was seen requesting people to clear a path so he could leave the premises.

Salman Khan arrived at Ashish Shelar's residence to offer prayers during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

He was dressed casually in a black T-shirt and pants. A large number of fans and members of the media gathered around the actor as he headed toward his vehicle. The crowd made it difficult for the security team to escort Salman Khan outside. The actor then brought his hands together and gestured toward those standing around him.

He appeared to request that the people move aside and allow him to pass. The situation remained crowded as Salman Khan continued toward his car.

His security team worked to create a passage through the gathering.

Salman Khan notices children in crowd

Just before entering his car, Salman Khan noticed several children among the people waiting outside. The young fans had gathered hoping to see the actor. The large turnout, however, made it difficult for them to approach him. Security personnel were seen trying to control the crowd and move people away from the actor. Salman Khan noticed the children during the commotion.

He asked his security personnel to be careful while managing the gathering.

The actor did not allow the children to come close to him. However, he briefly interacted with the young fans before getting into his vehicle.

Salman Khan joins Ganpati celebrations with family

Salman Khan has been actively participating in Ganesh Chaturthi festivities in Mumbai. His celebrations have included appearances with members of his family and traditional rituals associated with the festival.

The actor also visited his brother Sohail Khan's residence in Bandra. Salman Khan joined his family there for the Ganpati celebrations and participated in the traditional aarti. He later took part in Ganpati Visarjan with his family.

Videos from the immersion ceremony showed Salman Khan performing the aarti and joining his family as they bid farewell to Lord Ganesha.

Salman Khan's 'Maatrubhumi' awaits release

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has several projects lined up. One of his confirmed films is 'Maatrubhumi', directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The upcoming project is a patriotic war drama based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. Salman Khan plays a high-ranking military officer in the film.
