Carl Cox, Bonobo, and Jessie Ware Among First 30 Acts Revealed by Barcelona’s Sónar 2027

Translate

Barcelona’s Sónar Festival has revealed the first 30 acts for its 2027 edition, with Carl Cox, Bonobo, Jessie Ware, Peggy Gou, and Tokischa among the artists set to perform. Taking place June 17th–19th, the festival will feature more than 80 performances and activities, including Cox’s first Sónar appearance in over two decades and a new live show from Bonobo featuring material from Distance in Static.

Other highlights include Swedish rapper Yung Lean, Japanese experimental musician Cornelius, Romy of The xx, Honey Dijon, KI/KI, Oscar Mulero, and Goldie, who will perform live after an injury forced him to cancel his 2026 appearance.

The lineup also features a back-to-back DJ set from Ed Banger founder Busy P and Mexican singer Girl Ultra, alongside Collabs3000, the collaborative project of Chris Liebing and Speedy J. Frost Children, Job Jobse, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, and Aurora Halal are among the other confirmed acts. Tickets are on sale now, with SonarPass and SonarPass+D packages available in standard and VIP options.

Beyond the lineup, Sónar is changing its format once again. After bringing its daytime and nighttime programming together at Fira Gran Via in 2026, the festival will return to separate venues. Sónar by Day will move to a yet-to-be-announced waterfront location in central Barcelona, where it will reunite with Sónar+D, the festival’s program dedicated to music, technology, and creativity. Sónar by Night, meanwhile, will return to Fira Gran Via on June 18th and 19th.

The announcement follows an unusual promotional campaign in which organizers staged the festival’s death, complete with a mock funeral and an online book of condolences, before revealing its plans for 2027.
