Cardi B is no longer performing at BZR WKND Jamaica this month, her rep told Billboard on Thursday (Oct. 8).

The “AH HA” rapper was slated to hit the stage Oct. 18 and deliver the headlining set for BZR WKND Jamaica, a four-day festival celebrating music, culture, food, tourism, fashion and entertainment. Bardi would have taken over Kingston’s National Stadium, the same venue Vybz Kartel sold out for his post-incarceration comeback concert on New Year’s Eve 2024.

“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026,” reads a statement from Cardi’s reps to Billboard. “Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future. For information regarding the status of BZR WKND Jamaica, ticketing, or other event-related matters, please contact the event organizers directly. Any information regarding Cardi B and her future performances will be communicated exclusively through Cardi B’s official channels.”

At press time, event organizers have not returned Billboard’s request for comment.

Last week (Sept. 28), Billboard exclusively revealed that Grammy-nominated dancehall superstar Spice would host this year’s BZR WKND Jamaica, with additional performers including Grammy-nominated R&B star Keyshia Cole and dancehall artists Malie Donn, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley, Shaneil Muir and DJ MAC.

Cardi’s BZR WKND appearance would have followed this year’s wildly successful Little Miss Drama Tour, which grossed more than $70 million and sold 453,000 tickets across Feb. 11-April 18, according to Billboard Boxscore. The “ErrTime” rapper launched her North American trek — her first proper string of live shows in seven years — in support of her 2025 Am I the Drama? LP, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hits like “Outside” (No. 10), the Kehlani-assisted “Ring” (No. 28) and “Magnet” (No. 37).

Recently, Bardi has been enjoying Milan Fashion Week, where she attended Gucci’s “The Store Show” presentation. Last month, she won her fifth career Moon Person at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards for “Safe” in the best hip-hop category. Cardi has had quite the year at awards shows, with a trio of wins at May’s American Music Awards and her best female hip-hop artist triumph at June’s BET Awards. Notably, she also confirmed to The Breakfast Club that she’s already working on her third album, which she expects to release next year.
